¡¡The college has employed 5 language teachers, who are
from the United States, New Zealand, Australia and Korea respectively.
¡¡American teacher Iris Maurer, holding a Doctor¡¯s degree of British
literature, is a very experienced teacher who have taught professional
English in many famous universities in China, such as Beijing University, Renmin University, Beijing Science and Technology University, Capital
Normal University, Nankai University, Northwestern University, etc.
Her attitude and sense of responsibility has been widely acknowledged
by the colleagues.
¡¡David Anderson£¬from New Zealand, has been awarded TESOL Certificate
by the Hawson Education College and has about 10 years of TESOL experience.
His sense of humor and flexibility at class makes all his students
feel active and comfortable.
¡¡Libby Anderson£¬David¡¯s wife, is from Australia. She is a graduate
of Special Education, and many years of teaching experience and her
different styles in class really attract many students.
¡¡Mr. Lee Won Youp, a Korean, holds a Doctor¡¯s degree of Northeastern
Asia History from Beijing University. Many of his academic papers
were published in Chinese professional periodical, which have proved
his great achievements. He is now teaching the Korean language related
courses in the History Department while doing research, and he is
admired by colleagues and students for his erudite and devotion.
Miss Anastasia Yung Tsin Liu, graduated from
the well-known Yale University, is one of the youngest teachers of
the college. Her bilingual ability makes her communication with the
students easier, and her TESOL experience adds much to her teaching
skills.
